2013 marked the 50th Anniversary of the Bartlett Park District, and they wanted something special to commemorate that on signage, marketing materials, t-shirts…even a giant cake! So I wanted to design an eye-catching logo that felt fresh and fun with a retro feel. The colors started out with a patriotic theme but have easily adapted through different applications. The version in the first image was first given the vintage treatment for a t-shirt design, while smaller scale logos (like on the program brochure covers) kept it simple and solid.
