HELLO THERE, AND WELCOME TO THE CONRAD DESIGN BLOG. IF YOU HAD VISITED THE SITE PREVIOUSLY AND THOUGHT THAT IT WAS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR TO BE ABLE TO SIMPLY CHECK OUT MY WORK WITHOUT LISTENING TO ME WHINE ABOUT THINGS, THEN I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE.
I decided to bring back the blog on a limited basis as a way for me to share my views and experiences in the field of design. There are no promises that I won’t sneak in a random quote of the day, a story about sneakers, or something else that probably has no business being here, but I will try my best to stay focused.
After sending out a few proposals to prospective new clients, I realized that having them review my portfolio only paints part of the picture. I put myself in their shoes and realized that committing a large graphic or web design project to someone I don’t know very well is a lot to ask of anyone, no matter how professional they seem or how refined their work is. So my hope is that by taking a little time every few weeks to share some design related insight and advice, you guys will get a better idea of who am I am as a designer.
Great work begins with a designer and client who are on the same page.
It’s important to me to work with people who share similar ideals. I’m a tireless worker and a perfectionist. I believe that attention to detail is what separates good from great. I’m willing to put in extra time focusing on all the tiny details that others may overlook or deem unnecessary. My hope is that you also value those things. But enough words and proclamation for today. What I’m asking for is an opportunity to show you how I work.
